20 years

The Cuban pianist Ramón Valle (1964, Holguin, Cuba) has been living in The Netherlands since 1997 and is acclaimed worldwide for his overwhelming expressive piano playing. His cuban background and his classical education are always there when he his playing. Chucho Valdes called him "the greatest talent among our young pianists" and at the North Sea Jazz Festival Ramón Valle was called the festival's sensation.

When he moved to the Netherlands he formed his jazz trio with which he performed all the major international jazz podiums.

Now, 20 years later, Ramon Valle is going to tour the Netherlands to celebrate his anniversary with various Dutch top-musicians. For the concert in Wageningen, that is trumpeter Eric Vloeimans.

Multi talent

Eric Vloeimans (1963, Huizen NH) is a musical multi talent. Jazz, world music, classic, pop ... Vloeimans does it all. He played himself in the spotlight through an almost countless number of collaborations, almost as many prizes and musical projects. So that he is also known to the general public. And with reason. A comprehensive bio (in

Dutch) can be found at www.jazzhelden.nl.

Fabulas

In 2009, Valle & Vloeimans recorded the album Fabulas. And on 5 October they will perform together on the intimate stage of Impulse on the Campus in Wageningen. This promises to be a beautiful evening. I would go and watch them when I was you.

Come to watch and listen in Impulse (building 115) Stippeneng 2, 6708 WE Wageningen. Have a look at Google Maps for the location.
