Bill Laurance

In the early 1990s, Bill Laurance was working as a young musician in Leeds when he was asked to tour with singer Michael Solomon Williams. Bassist Michael League played in that band and the two developed a friendship. League invited Bill to record the first Snarky Puppy album (Te Only Constant) and the rest is history. Five Grammys later, he is on our stage.

In the meantime he has worked with many artists such as David Crosby, Morcheeba, Salif Keita, Terence Blanchard, Susana Baca, Lalah Hathaway, Laura Mvula, Jacob Collier, Musiq Soul Child, Khalid Sansi, Chris Potter, Lionel Loueke, Carlos Malta, the Metropole Orchestra and the WDR Big Band. He worked with dancers and composed music. Including for companies such as Apple, Sky, Nokia and Hewlett Packard. He is Artist in Residence at Morley College London. He is a passionate teacher and teaches highly sought-after clinics around the world.
