Who is William Barrett
William Barrett is an Amsterdam jazz bassist. Making sultry, raw music, while improvising at the cutting edge. According to Barrett, that is what he prefers to do. Barrett leads his own band, the William Barrett band. He is also a permanent member of Fenix of KiKa Sprangers, among others.
Who is Bob Hoving
Bob Hoving is a guitarist, singer, and composer born in Leiden and now living in Amsterdam. Although active in many styles, he primarily composes jazz and indie music himself. Hoving leads his own quintet, among other things.
New duo, Bob & William
Bob Hoving and William Barrett are starting a new duo. Driven by their shared love for Indie/slacker music, beats, and improvisational soundscapes, Bob and William began making music together. Bob Hoving is a guitarist, singer, and producer, and William Barrett is a jazz bassist; together, they create a combination of hypnotic soundscapes and catchy beats.

For this performance, they have created 5 new songs specifically, inspired by the warm summer. That is, 5 world premieres this evening. We can't wait!
Collaboration with Hotel De Wereld
This evening is made possible by a wonderful collaboration between Jazz in Wageningen and Hotel de Wereld! This performance is therefore part of the extensive cultural program at the Vrijheidskwartier.
Jazz in Wageningen arranged the musicians and Hotel de Wereld the atmospheric venue, and is also offering a delicious 3-course concert surprise menu. In this way, we are working together on a high-quality gastronomic and cultural Wageningen summer!

Tickets
The performance by Bob and William on Friday, August 21 is free to attend. Would you like to make your evening extra special with a 3-course concert surprise menu? Then a reservation is required, which you can make here at Hotel de Wereld!
Location
The performance takes place on the attractive terrace of Hotel de Wereld, 5 Mei Plein 1 in Wageningen. If it unexpectedly rains, we will move inside to the capitulation hall.
